How to type an em dash
We have recently come to enjoy the smug sense of superiority that comes from appropriately using em dashes — instead of just lazily typing a double hyphen — when we’re twittering or emailing or what-have-you.
However: We would enjoy it even more if the rest of the world liked using them too… here’s how:
In OS X: option-shift-hyphen
In Windows: alt-0151 (this only works with the numeric keypad)
